Picture Frame

I bought a few picture frames from a garage sale spending $2 for both. I was looking everywhere for some I wanted but did not want to pay $30 plus on them. It only took me about an hours worth of work, a little sweat and I LOVE THEM. One will be for a family picture and the other for a prop when we do a photo sessions : )

You will need:
Picture frame made of real wood, (if you are looking at garage sale look at frames with pictures in them too..they might just sale the frame to you)
Sand paper
Paint thinner
Spray paint or stain.

First you will sand down your picture frame. Make sure you get all the gloss and either the old paint or stain removed. Second use your paint thinner and put about a quarter size into a rag (so you do not need much). You will want to make sure you clean the frame from all the dust that accumulated.

Last but not least, you are ready to paint your frames. You will want to do one coat, let it dry and do a second or third if needed.

Easy as that...you did not spend a lot of money and you can customize them to what you want!!!

   Have a great day!

A day at the park

A day at the Park! I just love nice days when you can take your kids outside rather than having to stay in side all day trying to keep them busy!

Eli loved the tractor so much!

Can you you see the joy she has in her :)

He is the sweetest little boy you will ever meet :)

We think Lily will be in gymnastics pretty soon!

Baby Room Name

Hello Everyone! I having been working on this simple project for months now. It does not take a very long time to make. The longest part is waiting for your paint to dry. For me it was getting everything I needed because I had it in my mind what I wanted I just could not figure out where to get it all. I did though and it is PERFECT! Just what I had in mind! Don't you just love when you picture something and you stress out while you are doing it, but in the long run it is very well worth it :0
Also by the way this baby name is not for me!

First Here is what you will need.

A hot glue gun and extra sticks of glue.
Letters ( I found mine at Hobby Lobby).
Paint for your letters (I used spray paint).
Make your own frame kit. ( I found mine at Michael's) (Or you may get lucky and find an already made frame perfect for your craft).
Rubber Mallet
Fabric of your choice ( I found mine at Hobby Lobby).

Make sure you iron your fabric.

Here is The Create A Frame Set I found at Michael's.

Just snap the pieces together.

You might want to use a mallet to make sure all the edges are even.

It will look like this.

Make sure you level all your letters before you hot glue them!

After you let the letters dry to the fabric, turn upside down and staple the fabric to the back of the frame. ( I used a standard stapler).
Trim all the access fabric,
AND here you go a cute new framed name.

ENJOY!!!!

Make you own baby wipes!

I LOVE being able to save money and use things around my house so I thought I would share how to make baby wipes. I make a batch once a week and I LOVE THEM!!!

First Here is what you will need.
2 cups of water (boiled and cooled to room temp)
1 tablespoon of baby oil
2 tablespoons of baby magic (or any baby bath product of your choice)
1 roll of viva paper towels (cut in half) (I like Viva they are very soft and strong)

Boil 2 cups of water and let it come to room temp
This process can take about 30-45 minutes

Now you want to cut your paper towel roll in half. You will only use 1  now and save the other side for later.

Take out the center roll and pull the center towel out like this

You will mix all your products together and put in a container. Put the paper towel roll in the container and let set for 3 minutes. Then you will want to turn your container upside down to let the rest of the water mixture soak into the paper towel. Let your container set upside down for at least 10 minutes.

NOW you have awesome baby wipes!

ENJOY :)
